We’re heading Back Doune the

Rabbit Hole

An independent Scottish festival with a mind of its own. Back Doune the Rabbit Hole returns to Cardross Estate, 17 – 19 July 2026. Built by people who love festivals, it’s as much for kids running wild as it is for late-night wandering, with music, art and plenty happening in between.

Cardross Estate Stirlingshire

Live music, a field full of happy people and plenty happening beyond the stages. If that sounds like your kind of weekend, you’ll feel at home at Back Doune the Rabbit Hole.

We’re proudly independent, built by people who love festivals for all the right reasons. Emerging artists finding their feet, kids running wild, strangers turning into pals.

Come open-minded. There’s music, art and a bit of chaos woven through it all, under open skies in the Scottish countryside.

Artists you’ll find at BDTRH 2026

The heart of the festival, with space to sit, dance or get close to the action. From daytime sets to headline moments after dark, this is where it all comes alive.

Don’t skip the Big Top, our second biggest stage. Sheltered and full of energy, it’s a place to drop in or stay a while with pals.

Burrowlands brings together emerging artists and touring acts from across indie, punk and alternative scenes. Expect sweaty singalongs and new discoveries.

Mad Hatters is our dance tent, with upbeat electronic sets by day and bigger sounds as night falls. Expect house, drum and bass and plenty to keep you moving.

New for 2026, The Looking Glass brings folk and traditional music into focus at Back Doune the Rabbit Hole. A space shaped by stories, sounds and artists from across Scotland.

The Wacky Warren is our family area, where kids run wild and imaginations take over. With crafts, games and plenty to get stuck into, it’s all go from morning to night.
